Yes. Camp fires are allowed within the city as long as there is not a state mandated ban on burning.

No. Recreational fires are not permitted when the DNR or Federal Forest Service has issued a burning ban.

4. How do I get permission for a fire pit?

Permits from the fire department are no longer required if you want to install a fire pit. A regular ringed fire pit must be a minimum of 25 feet away from any structures. An enclosed, listed, outdoor fireplace is permitted to be a minimum of 15 feet from a structure.
